Getting started

Flewnt is a LINE bot. You add it as a friend, configure your language pair, and invite it to your chats. This guide covers the first five minutes.

Step 1: Add Flewnt on LINE

Go to flewnt.chat and tap "Add Flewnt on LINE". This opens LINE and prompts you to add Flewnt as a friend. Accept.

Step 2: Set your language

Open a DM with Flewnt and tap Set language (or send /setup). Flewnt will ask for your target language. Reply with the language name or code. Example: English.

Your target language is the language you want to read. If you want Thai messages translated into English, your target is English.

Step 3: Invite Flewnt to a chat

1. Open the LINE chat you want to add Flewnt to.
2. Tap the chat name at the top.
3. Tap "Members" then "Invite".
4. Find Flewnt in your contacts and invite it.

Flewnt starts translating automatically. No commands needed.

Step 4: Repeat for other chats

Your subscription covers every chat you are in. Repeat step 3 for each chat.

What to expect

When a chat member sends a message in a language that differs from your target, Flewnt posts the translation as a regular message immediately after, in the format name💬translation. Translations are visible to everyone in the chat.

If a message is already in your target language, Flewnt stays silent.

Open a direct message with Flewnt to set your language and manage settings.
